BAYH CHOOSES NOT TO SEEK PRESIDENTIAL BID --EDWARDS WILL ENTER RACE LATER THIS MONTH.
While I knew Bayh's chances for winning the nomination were slim, I never thought he would choose not to run. He seemed geared toward running since 2004. However, I think it was fairly evident he would not win the nomination. I too abandoned Bayh a few weeks ago after I looked more closely at where he stood on issues. Then the Obama wave pulled me from neutral to a Barrack Obama supporter.
What I think mostly did it for Bayh was when he went to New Hampshire and Obama had sold out crowds and Bayh could barely fill a room. While it was dissapointing to see him not run, I think it was the right thing to do. I would have liked to see Bayh in the debates, but I understand he had no chance. Anyways, if you want to read more click here.
Meanwhile, John Edwards, third in the polls for the Presidential bid is going to run. He will not make the announcement until later this month, but sources say his bid is evident.
